Equipment & affixes

Seven slots, three armour weights, and rolled quality. The wrinkle that changes how you loot: the bag is a piece of gear with its own slot and its own bonus lines.

The slots we can see

These are the slots that appeared in the October 2026 demo item table. More may open in Early Access; we will add them when they are in a build.

Weapon
Main-hand weapon. The weapon category drives your mastery track and combo list.
Head
Armour slot. The demo drops Adventurer and Apprentice helmets, among others.
Chest
The main defence slot in the demo item table. Light, medium, and heavy versions exist.
Legs
Armour slot. Greaves, trousers, and leggings appeared in the demo build.
Cloak
A separate cloak slot; the demo’s Cotton Cape is one example.
Belt
Its own slot. The demo’s Rustic Belt can drop from chests and enemies.
Bag
A dedicated bag slot. Bags are gear, not a menu upgrade: they can roll bonus lines like any other item.
More?
Early Access may add slots. We only list what a build shows, so this tile stays empty until then.
Rules

Quality, bonus lines, and the bag

Quality is rolled

A dropped or crafted item rolls a quality. Higher quality adds more lines from that item’s bonus list and raises its value.

Each item has its own pool

Bonus lines are tied to the item, not to a global “best in slot” list. Read the item card before you sell it.

Bags are equipment

A bag occupies the bag slot and can carry its own bonus lines. That makes a good bag a real gear decision, not just extra storage.

Values move before launch

The demo’s numbers are from the October 2026 build. Early Access rebalances are expected, especially around bow combat.

Weights

Light, medium, heavy

The demo table shows a clear defence ladder. It does not show a movement penalty spreadsheet, so the choice is about how you actually fight, not a hidden formula.

Demo table

Representative items

Twelve examples from the demo’s item pool, not a complete dump. Values are the demo’s own and will move at launch.

Why only twelve? A full dump would be stale before launch and would bury the rules. The point of this page is the system: slots, weights, quality, and the bag decision.
