Emberville FAQ
The questions that actually decide whether you download the demo. If a fact is not public, the answer says so instead of guessing.
What is Emberville?
Emberville is a pixel-art action RPG with town rebuilding, farming, and crafting, developed by Cygnus Cross; it enters Steam Early Access on January 7, 2027, and a free demo is available now. You wake inside the Vitromotus, a magical prison, rescue its survivors, and rebuild the ruined town above.
Is Emberville out yet?
Not yet. It enters Steam Early Access on January 7, 2027. A free demo is available now on Steam.
Is there an Emberville demo?
Yes. The free Emberville Demo launched on October 19, 2026, and is a short prologue slice covering character creation, the first dungeon, the class tutorial, and early gear.
Does demo progress carry into Early Access?
Cygnus Cross says demo progress will carry over into the Early Access build. Keep your demo save until the January 7, 2027 launch.

Can you change class in Emberville?
